Got a call from Virtusa to attend F2F interview this Saturday, since i have only less than a week, is it okay to attend? Just want to know is it worth a try.

tech - 6.5 yrs/ React+Node

SA at big4 making 126k in advisory. Offer from Cog to join at M with 155k and 10k sign on. Also interviewing with other firms where it’d be a lateral switch with ~170k base. Thoughts/guidance/opinion?

I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? Does IT companies fake job roles like they show development role while attending interview but after joining they give support.Why they don't hire separately for support?Is this because nobody wants to work in support they make job description attractive to make employees join?
