So that is the first reason and no new tech learning and project change happening with me. Also in last cycle they didn't give good rating bcoz i was asking for new project ..??

Have an acquaintance who is a single mom; she purchased a used car 3 mos ago. Six wks later her 17yo wrecked it, air bags deployed, and estimates have ranged between $10-$18k in needed repairs while $21k is still owed. A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.

With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?

I’ve been working as an APM at my current company for 1yr, and have basically been doing the work of a full blown PM the entire time. I’ve lead several features from start to finish and made sure to mention in my resume that I have been doing everything a regular PM does.
