Hello, I could use a little career advice. I went to school for PR and communications and I have earned both a BA and a Master's with these majors. However, when I finished school I started my career in digital marketing and SM management and I have been in some kind of marketing role ever since. Now that I'm back on the job hunt I wonder if I should be pursuing PR jobs. - went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

Should I get a CPA for Transaction Due Diligence?
I’m a new grad working in FDD and I’m trying to decide if becoming a CPA is worth it. I do not plan on staying in accounting in the future. I’m more interested in strategy work. I certainly do not want to do Audit. Would you recommend getting the CPA considering my career aspirations? Do you think it’s worth it? If not, what is the best way to use my time efficiently?

Is this merged role worth considering as someone young in the industry with more traditional intern and freelance copy experience.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me.
