Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

If you decide to go into PR, consider getting your APR not just for the initials behind your name but for the invaluable education you receive.
Public Relations experince. So, if I wanted a PR job, should I be looking at entry level roles or could I go for more advance positions?
I think it would be advantageous for you to start at an agency to gain the hands-on PR experience. That way you can get skills like writing press releases, media pitching, and working with media tools under your belt. I'm in the exact opposite situation as you right now. I got my master's in PR and now I'm trying to work in marketing!
Id recommend finding a digital role in a PR agency!
