First recommendation is that you cannot be the childcare provider during working hours. Second dedicate a space (preferable with a door and a comfortable chair) and treat that space like your “at work” when you’re there.
If you are looking for advice on how to care for your children while you work, I say find childcare. The toll on you and on your kids is not worth the money you'll save by taking care of them while working, even if you work primarily when they're sleeping. You will eventually crash and feel hopeless with no way out since most places require an application process that could go months out. Besides that, you'll likely be exhausted and in a bad mood, not good for anyone. Plus they learn so much during that stage, they benefit by being around others like them to gain motor skills and develop their speech.
We tried wfh and raising our kid. All the above happened to us and eventually we took him to daycare.

Most people say they want to WFH to care for their children but as you mentioned, you can’t effectively care for your children and work at the same time. WFH does allow for time flexibility but you still have to manage your time to be effective and not be all you that you mentioned. It takes a lot of discipline to WFH (effectively). My principle has always been no WFH as my home is my sanctuary and family time. All that went out the door in 2020 and 2021 as I was forced to. I found that I worked a whole lot more (since the company I work for has office sites in 3 continents and since we had a lot of lay offs, all sites had to work more closely together) and at all hours. Since reopening of the office, I volunteered to go back in so now I rarely turn on my laptop at home anymore. Since we still have the remote option, I only WFH when I have family events.

Are you asking for recommendations on how to work effectively from home, which you haven’t done before, or recommendation on how to get a job without any work experience?
