Hi Everybody,
I'm currently working as an outsource in Rapid Metro as Technical Assistant/Civil. I earned a Master degree in Water Resource Engineer after B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Due to Covid 19 I took job back in Civil sector even though I have a masters degree in WRE. It's been almost 6 months of constant applying and rejection and still I'm nowhere close to a job in my dream branch which is the Water sector.Im hopeful that through this portal I may find an entry level position in water

You can start exploring few courses from YouTube aur Udemy. But to save time I would suggest try doing some paid courses because searching free resources will consume lot of time and you won't get in-depth knowledge.
Since your experience is 12 year's, High level knowledge will not work.
For Azure Data Engineering - I heard Deepak Goyal's Course is good but you can check.
from your side as well.
BTW am also having 10 Years of experience and recently switched from QA to DE roles.
All the best!!!
Hey thank you for your reply. I was really checking for Deepak Goyal's data engineering course feedback. As per Deepak, he is promising to be job ready Data Engineer in 4 months course. Topics he is going to cover are, Cloud fundamentals, ADLS, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Databricks, Data lake, Delta lake, Spark streaming, Azure synapse analytics etc. Fees are around 30k. Have you done the same course? Or you have any genuine feedbacks from your friend circle?
I have some below queries -
1. The list of topics seems huge so really someone can do this in just 4 months?
2. I have 17 lpa salary right now. Can I be able to get some 30-40% rise after doing Data engineering transition?
All the best !!!
Get the Google certifications ,Google offers free cloud course+ credits to learn cloud
AWS also offers same.
Thank you. Sorry for late reply. I was too much occupied last couple of days.
I have done Big Data Masters Course from Trendytech which was mostly focused on OnPrem using Hadoop and Cloudera Distribution and some topics on AWS.
But Since most of the Companies have moved to cloud or planning to move cloud ,doing azure data engineering make sense
One of my friend is doing the Deepak Goyals Azure Data Engineering Course and he told the Course is Good but you can confirm from others as well.
17 lpa is not that High package you can easily expect 25 to 28 lpa after completing the course.
In Azure most time taking and important topics are
ADF and Azure DataBricks
Other topics will take less time, hence you should be able to complete it in 4-5 months.
But practicing and Doing project will take take time.
ADF itself will.take 14 classes of 2 hrs reach.
Sure no problem!!!
Hi did you transit?
Hi , any update? were you able to get a job in Azure DE?
