I’ve been in a similar spot, and it can be tricky to balance quick and more intensive tasks, especially when you're managing a team. Maybe a tier system could work—like quick fixes under 30 minutes get bumped up, while bigger ones stay in the regular queue? You might want to get buy in from the team but I organize my own priorities this way and it might work well for a team too

Most places that I’ve known have permitted task management to be up to the employees themselves, of course, depending on the context. However, integrating a consistent system is worthwhile nonetheless.
