I’m a Senior DevOps Engineer with 4 years of experience.
I’ve received two offers — Publicis Sapient at 18 LPA and CGI at 21.5 LPA (21 + 0.5 bonus ). CGI is directly allocating me to a project, but the work is mainly on PowerShell, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Salesforce, and CI/CD, with no containerization exposure. Publicis Sapient has a stronger brand name, but project allocation may take some time.

I’m a bit confused about which one to choose. What would be the right move here?

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. Home reno financing question. Have a big project coming up in the $120-150k range. Funding sources are:
- 90k from a heloc around prime
- 10k from a credit card that offers promo checks at 2-3% for 12-18 months
- 375k in a brokerage
- 5-6k per month cash that I can put towards the project, loans, or brokerage

I don't want to stop funding the brokerage because my FIRE plan is less numbers based than "hoard like dragon until it's enough" but maybe I should... How would you optimize?

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

I bought CER006 on Nov 21 with my current company email id and completed one certification. I am leaving my current organization and I still have 9+ months time left for CER006. My company says the s user id provided by them will get de-activated once I leave (in a week). I have not claimed the amount also. Is there any way I can transfer the certification to my personal email I'd so that I can write other exams in time left?
