Update: HE WENT THREE TIMES YESTERDAY and didn’t pee during his nap either!!!!
Thanks everyone for your input!
Do not sweat it
Boys can take a bit longer than girls. Potty training during 3 is totally fine
This is fine
My daughter is almost 3 and we have been unable to potty train her. She is a chatterbox and understands the concept of the Potty and in fact she puts her pet-toy giraffe on the potty and tells him to do it there, but when it’s her turn, she doesn’t do it at all. 😕
Have you tried reading the book oh crap potty training? Was helpful for the wife and I https://www.amazon.com/Crap-Potty-Training-Everything-Parenting/dp/1501122983
I’m on kid 4 now so I’ve been through this. With the first kid we started stressing out and trying to force him to potty train. It ended badly. We then just decided to let him do it when he was ready. We encouraged him but didn’t force. Right around 3-3.5 years he just suddenly decided he would use the potty. He never regressed and very, very, very rarely has ever had any accidents. We did the second approach with my daughter and had the same result.
This is a small sample of course but I would suggest just relaxing, encourage them, and let them decide when they are ready.
I’ve a 3 year old girl and she’s been sitting on the pot for over a year now. We might have gotten a bit lucky but what worked for us was that we made a huge deal every time she agreed to even sit on the pot. Connecting sitting on the pot with being a grown up helped us. Hope you find success with your little one soon.
Mine is almost 3 as well, and we are going through the same journey. Still not successful...
Thank you! I’m over here freaking out 😥
I’m glad I’m not alone. It sucks, one day I put him on the toilet every 15 minutes and he never went. He only went when he was sleeping
Bruh. I’ve been in the workforce for 10 years now. I’ve never “pottied” at the office.
Maybe your kid just likes to shit in the comfort of his home
I try to shit while getting paid as often as possible
Have you gave him vaccines? Not being potty trained by that age is a late sign of autism.... https://www.jennymccarthybodycount.com
She was so hot
