If you're not against fast fashion there are a lot of options on places like dresslily or even amazon. Even low-priced clothes can be styled great, and if you're on social media there are a lot of influencers, etc who can offer styling tips on a budget. Good luck!

I agree with you OP, it really is hard to find good clothing. I buy most of my clothes at Express or sometimes at the Banana Republic factory outlet here in town. I can usually find some pretty good stuff.

What do you do for winter shoes and commuting?

I walk a total ~20 mins in between train/bus stations and then getting from the stop in the loop to the office.

What do I do come wintertime for boots? Do you wear them while you're in the office? Or do you bring dress shoes with you to change in to? I wear a suit to work, so what boots would be good for winter but also look decent with a suit? This is my first winter in Chicago (a socal transplant)

Client team and our designers got into a shouting match today during final review of the deliverable (client started it). Is it too much to ask that people be professional at the office- ugh.

I put in a lot of effort to show my client properties that fit their requirements, but they ended up working with a different agent just because they wandered across an open house. I'm so frustrated right now. Has anyone else experienced this?

I started a new job last monday; this is my first corporate job after college. My senior manager ( my manager’s manager) scheduled a 1:1 with me on Friday and she expects me to have questions.
What should ask? I'm already being trained by my peers, so I don't really understand the dynamic.

Currently our marketing team is of one (me) and we outsource quite a bit of other tasks as we continue to grow. With that said, one of the tasks I am currently involved with is creating weekly emails from scratch and I am pretty darn good at them. Yet so many people (several in different teams) have requested to review my work before it’s sent. It’s unnecessary and makes the job less efficient. How can I politely and professionally decline their request?
