Uber Sr Manager is 75-85k?? Where, in Senegal??!
Uber is evil brah
D1, no way...those new commercials with the new CEO talking with the lowly office staff proves it's a new Uber
Yes, to go through the process. You don’t have to say yes
You sure it's not an interview to be an Uber driver?
I’m only a second year analyst and have also been offered the Manager position at Uber. You’re a Senior Consultant. You have way better options than this
I’ve heard the culture is horrible as well.
Get the Exp of Interview process but honestly that’s too low of a salary. U’d make more here in Consulting.
You sure this isn’t for a driver role?
That's too low, plus I have a friend of mine working there and the culture is horrible. I would look elsewhere.
No! If you know for sure you won’t take a pay cut it makes no sense to go through the process. If you think there’s a chance that you’d be able to negotiate that salary high enough for you to seriously consider, maybe. Otherwise, no way
How much is the theoretical stock worth? I interviewed for ops manager role 3 years back and walked away after final round after learning how low pay is. I imagine the stock is only being more diluted at this point
More info: I’ve been at current firm for 4 years and would like to try something new. I am content.
My question boils down to is this final interview worth the time (I need to make a deck in advance) if I know for sure I am not interested in taking a pay cut.
Not applying for driver🤓
That's lower than PwC starting out of undergrad salary....
Why are you leaving your current firm?

Maybe go 4 experince but come back in a ur or 2
How do they attract top talent with that salary???
OP, I think what you’re getting at is if the brand is worth the low salary. I don’t think it is. May be once it was an exciting startup to be a part of, not anymore
That salary in SF would be really tough unless you have roommates in a rent controlled apt
