Hey EY - what’s the reimbursement for filing taxes. Will they reimburse costs for filing with Turbo Tax?

It's an added benefit. Same as cell phone reimbursement

Update: I ran the entire $99 charge and in audit they limited to $75

like

Yes, up to $75

Yes, but I am sure I do more than $75. I think it might be $75 for federal, but if you have to do Xtra states, you add. I just send my whole bill and I think it has been paid every year $150+

I used turbo and my total for fed and State was $99. I paid by having them take the fee out of my refund. How would I show this on my expense report and what do code do I charge it to? Sorry I’m new here and can’t find any instructions

You should still be able to get a receipt from the software somewhere

Does pwc have anything like this?

How is filing your own taxes a reimbursable expense?

Interesting. Pwc1- PwC doesn’t reimburse for the software or the cost of filing - that could be included as a deduction. Surprised its a benefit to others since its not a specific work requirement.

^ hate to say I told you so... but yeah

When to sell at a loss?

I’m 26 and have a fair chunk of my NW tied to Cloudflare - a tech stock that I believe has the opportunity to 3x and become a $100b+ company over the long term. Similarly, I have a lot in cloud computing etf - WCLD.

Given short term rotation out of growth stocks, I’m confused on what to do. I think we still have some time before growth stocks bottom out, but do I sell?

I would consider myself a “long only” investor, but am unsure what to do given my lack of diversif

For those using voyager, does it take a really long time for deposits to settle? It's been like 1.5 weeks, my cash has been taken out of my bank account a while ago, but voyager still has all my deposits as pending.

I can still trade with the pending deposit, but I'm just wondering since I'll eventually withdraw some.

I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. I think people will become enraged or indifferent enough to allow the federal government to take over healthcare. How many times do we see people getting free prescriptions via government coverage that drive better cars than we do?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Earlier in the year I was going through a rough time and working through it, I have gotten better over the course of the year but I feel it's not enough. I got fired from my last job.
