Hi Fishes, What kind of work is envolved in ReactJS projects in Nagarro? Is it maintenance or Development From Scratch work. Also is it possible for a UI Developer in Nagarro to take up backend development work along with UI? I am currently working as a full stack Python developer and Got an offer in Nagarro as ReactJS Developer. I would also like to contribute in Backend Development as well. Last Ques 😅 - Mid-Product Organization vs Nagarro, Which one shall I choose for UI Dev role? TIA

My suggestion is get at least 1 promotion (esp. for lower level staff) under your belt prior to jumping. It’ll help boost your resume & increase your market value. Not guaranteed, but even if you have to wait another year for the SC promotion your market value will likely increase more than the 20k you are being offered now
This is probably the best response. Besides if they’re chasing you and bumping up the offer maybe they’ll bump it up even more.
You don't lose the Prestige of Deloitte by leaving @OP. It's so early on in your career that you can make moves
Wouldn't your promotion to SC take you to 20k more than your current salary? I'd stay with Deloitte and get the promotion
Rejected an offer from, came back and offered me almost 20k more than what I currently make. It’s a nice company and about 200 people, but it would be working for that kind of small business vs the big machine. It’s not a contract role, so I would be a permanent employee even if we lost the main contract I’m being hired for. Not sure whether to take it due to the huge bump and it’s a nice offer, or stay at D where I make less, but my pay would go up more yearly and future is a bit more certain
Mmm that’s tough. What’s the growth and culture like at new firm? Would you be coming in as a manager or senior?
Are you vested in your current 401k plan if not I’d try to use that to get a bonus to help supplement what you’re losing but it seems like a good chance to expand. You could always boomerang back but Tough since promotions and raises are only a few months away
Basically it’s do I go and work for this small company, make a lot more $ right away but maybe not see as high of a yearly salary bump, start all over again, not have the prestige of a big 4, etc. or do I stay at D where I’ve been for awhile and know my pay will go up consistently, but it would take me awhile to catch up with what this small firm is offering me, know where I stand and already have a network, and all of the perks of a large company, etc.
Was thinking that too, but I know it’s risky and you’ve got to be willing to walk if you do that. Thanks EY1. You’ve been really helpful!
Just curious, what company is this and for what position? I would take it in a heartbeat
For what it is worth, I wouldn't think anything more of an SC vs c on paper. I would look at years with the firm though. So, I guess the real question is what is your next role? How do you want your resume to look for that?
