Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

You’re making $68k in Los Angeles biglaw with 17 years of experience? Even if you’re not in biglaw, yes, you are severely underpaid, especially for Los Angeles. I’m not in biglaw and live in a MCOL area and make $130k with 10 years of experience. I think you should ask for minimum $100k if you’re not in biglaw and minimum $125k if you are.
You are most def under paid!
You are definitely underpaid. I work in Raleigh, NC at a regional midsized firm. Full time is 37.5 and I'm making $80k a year.
I’m in Raleigh, too, at a regional mid-size firm — wonder if it’s the same firm? If you’re comfortable sharing, multiple or single location? In any case, I wanted to let you know that well over six figures is possible in this city!
I work in a plaintiff boutique Orange County with 12 years experience and make over $120k plus bonuses (based on settlements) full medical 401k match. I guess it depends which type of law firm you work for and how many partners that work there is my guess. But yes you should definitely be asking for more. You got this!
You are absolutely underpaid, especially for the market you’re in! With your experience and market, I would be asking for $110k+!!! and that’s at the very least.
