Hey guys! Went to college with full intention of getting into medical school. Graduated right before the pandemic which gave time to think long and hard about going to med school. Decided I was doing it for all the wrong reasons, and am trying to pivot into consulting. I’ve reached out to hundreds on LinkedIn, which lead to a few referrals, but have heard nothing back from any firms. Anyone willing to help me out with some advice and guidance?

Currently a medical assistant and considering the PA route. Living in Canada where the PA profession is relatively new (not as many specialities for PAs as the US, and salary is lower). I’m nervous about future burn out and unfavourable working hours - any advice?

Notice period?
I have a vesting coming up in 2.5 weeks, i am thinking of resigning on monday so my last day would be the day i vest. My manager is planning a pip, and before he does that i think it makes sense to resign.
I don’t know if they will push me out sooner or not, so should i be giving 2 week notice or just 1 week taking into account my vesting timing?
Don’t have much knowledge to transfer, so its going to be coasting out the notice period.

Didn't end up making the cut in Strategy consulting case interviews. Would really like to do strategy / S&O some day. I love using data to inform decision-making.

Wondering if it would make sense to continue consulting in implementation then try to pivot again in the future or at another level - or drop consulting & try to get a strategy job at a startup or maybe do something else at a larger company and try to pivot internally.
