And have any of those tech companies or talent managers, told you that you’d be on contract with no benefits? I was told it was a formal job with benefits and good pay, now it’s short term contract for no exact amount of time, 1 day to 2 months, with no benefits, unless I prove I can do the job.

I had interviewed externally for a role on par w the internal roles, at a smaller and less established company. They confirmed +20% was in their range

How do I push back on my company if they offer less than that, if I do want one of those roles? Without a pay scale, what is the best way to approach?

Paralegals: My firm is looking for a paralegal, and I see the job posting advertising the salary as $65-$75k, with benefits. Is this a good salary for a paralegal (Greater LA area)? I’m not the decision maker, but it’s been a few weeks with very few applicants. I’m curious if there’s something hurting the firm in its search.
