I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. How common is it to eventually make $400k+ in-house/how difficult is it to transition back to a firm? Thanks!

Newish to data analytics. Have some experience in power BI, sql, and R. I wanted to get some exposure to aws and saw the AWS cloud practitioner as an available course at my job. Is this cert worth it? Or should I try one of the more advanced ones ? The data analytics one for example but wasn’t sure if it would be difficult to get through as a beginner. Will it look good on my resume?

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team. I’ve been in my position for 5 months now. I make $27 hourly which amounts to about $51,000 yearly. Am I being under paid? Are all coordinator positions hourly? As a laboratory researcher I was salary :(

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!"
