I’ve interviewed three times with two separate employers. Both have now appeared to have ghosted me in response to my candidacy. Is this the new normal, or are employers hesitant about hiring during COVID and are simply exploring the market? How long do I wait before contacting them a second time before writing off the opportunity?
If I get a job offer and make a counter offer for a higher salary, is there any chance they would rescind the original offer? (asking for ~15% bump)
Evaluate the two offers. Struggling to decide: 1. 350k base and 100k sign on with no bonus or LTI. 2. 235k base, 25% bonus and 80k LTI. 50k sign-on

Anyone know anything about Artisan Healthcare Consulting? Had a 4 hour final round interview with them almost two months ago and thought it went great but they’ve ghosted me since then.
Any recent hires negotiate a bonus due to inflation? I joined a tech company 6 months ago and between inflation and a stock dip I feel like negotiating for more comp is possible, but tough because of how recently I joined. Thoughts?
Anyone have insight into a competitive salary for level 603 project manager at JP Morgan Chase? Wealth management side. Do they offer signing bonuses at all?
Who here has experience using an outside offer to negotiate your pay at Deloitte? I know I’m valued (off cycle raise/retention bonus in addition to market adjustment coming)… but still 30 - 40k underpaid compared to what I’m seeing in the market. I like Deloitte and the work I do so I’d like to try and make it work, but know I need to play hard ball to see action. Would really appreciate advice and or tips for this process!

I was interviewing for McKinsey in the defense and security industry (clearance needed) and thought I did absolutely great on the first business case. The second, however, was with a principal that had very different political views from my own (I’d done some research on her LinkedIn). The business case felt different from any others that I had studied and felt like an attempt to get political without directly doing so. I was quickly rejected following the 2nd interview. Should I try reapplying?
Interviewing at FAANG in a week but have two offers from other consulting firms. Any way I can stall?
Just saw a dude wearing suit & tie at our SF office today (Fri). I bet he is either here for interview, or visiting from the East coast.
Slalom peeps - what can I expect from a Slalom case study interview in OE space? difficult, more convo based, etc.? How technical is it? Thanks for any guidance!
Anyone have advice on how to get better at selling yourself? I've had quite a few interviews/job leads since losing my job in June, but I think I'm struggling to present myself as impressive. I'm slowly realizing my biggest weakness in this industry appears to be that I'm bad at PR-ing myself.
Is it worth it to say real reasons why you’re actually leaving during your exit interview?
ISO tips on not thinking about salary/promotions/comparing myself to others at work. I’m pretty junior and feel like it is getting in the way of my productivity and I just feel crummy doing it.
How important are cover letters? I’ve started applying to some jobs but haven’t bothered with any cover letters since I’m not in a rush to leave/have been lazy. What prompted this is a position at Apple where I have very qualified experience.

How should one handle a strategy test for an interview and providing past client strategy example? The interviewer wants to assess thinking skills but looks like the test is for an existing client of theirs and I’m cautious of providing a recent strategy deck from my current place of work for an existing client.

I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
Hi all. If you have ever encountered passive aggressive teammates, did you raise this situation to your direct report? If so, what was your approach and how did you deliver the feedback? This particular teammate is beginning to create a toxic work environment for me and I would like to diffuse this situation amicably, as performance reviews are near.

Anyone have insight on Strategy roles at PepsiCo? Interesting work/culture/comp/growth/etc.
With the amount of stress and work I put into my job materials, kind of sucks that the people interviewing me have 0 knowledge of my skills and experiences and no specific questions about any of it :/
Working on an op model project where we keep hearing feedback (from multiple people) that one of the client leaders (one of our client team members) is super difficult to work with. I feel like we cannot ignore the feedback (i.e., we should either talk to him or his boss and convey how the team feels) but the partner on my project feels it’s not our mandate… Thoughts?

35 yo Asian male with more than 13 years of experience interfacing with senior management and execs at various companies on security strategy and operations type work. I have a very young looking face (baby face with barely any facial hair) and have been told I look like I’m 12. I have a deep voice when I talk and people usually listen. However, during every first impression from older gentlemen with facial hair, I always get the feeling that I’m too young to be in that meeting. How to deal?
