Hi all, I am in need of a recommendation for a psychiatrist that treats ADHD. I moved to Houston recently and I found out that my out-of-state psychiatrist is unable to send prescriptions here. I’ve been successfully treated for a few years. I’m a bit stressed as I’m nearly out of my medication. I was also wondering if it’d be an option to begin seeing a PCP in Texas and allowing them to speak with my current psychiatrist in order to receive prescriptions from the PCP? Thanks in advance!

We’ve had org issues - no clear role descriptions or expectations. Yes I do have a hard time staying engaged (and I’m medicated - Vyvance in the am, dextroamphetamine at noon). Thoughts?

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

At the beginning of quarantine, I was really depressed. I was drinking too much alcohol, eating too much junk food, and generally not in a good place. I realized I couldn’t continue like that so I started a plan to be healthier. As of today, I am down 11 pounds & am my lowest weight in years! It has been a slow weight loss but I am focusing on making sustainable lifestyle changes that I can keep up. I am so excited and proud!!
