I am a 6 months experienced business analyst wanting to go into data science. Due to lack of projects, my company is about to terminate my contract. What should I do?
Should I go into more upskilling or should I start applying?

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). I was a contracts manager on an in-house team for 4 years prior, which is why I was able to go straight in-house. I'm entirely skipping out on firm life, which feels both good and bad. Is there anything I should think about getting experience in? How should I go about making sure I am seeing enough things?

What other careers do you catch yourself daydreaming about? I, for one, would have loved acting as I loved theater throughout my life but alas fate had other plans. What's yours?

Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

I need help managing a contract transition. I just started working as project manager owning a large system and help manage a team of developers contracted by a different company. Now their contract is ending and I’ve been asked to represent the gov’t as a contractor and make sure the transition goes well. I’ve never been in this position…usually I’m either transitioning in or out. The outgoing isn’t very organized with their knowledge transfer and documentation and want to help them but how?

I am currently expecting, have informed my team. Since the organisation is in hybrid mode, when discussed earlier i was told that it is flexible in terms of wfh depending on my health condition. But now my department wants me to be in office twice a week irrespective of the prior discussion. Still half of the office is on hybrid mode. Is it a fair ask?

Between tolls and parking, it’s going to be close to $10K a year as opposed to the bus/train being between $2500-$3000 a year.
