General Question!
According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

For a top Producer of 3 years, is it appropriate to now ask for a raise in my base pay? Base was 42,500 when I started, but now inflation + 2 children later the base pay barely gets me by. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I got invited to a second round interview with a big company. The title sounds more senior than my current title, but the work responsibilities feel like a step down. I am wondering if I should still interview (to see if they will consider me for my desired role instead or at least, get some interview practice for when a better opportunity comes along). Thoughts? Should I feel gratitude or demotivated?
I have resigned from my previous company without any offer in hand just 10 months after joining due to its toxic work culture and I couldn't find a job for 6 months. Got rejected by many companies due to the 6 months gap and the new company I joined took me just based on my interview performance and offered only a 10% hike on my previous salary. Now one of my friends joined the same role in the company with a 40% hike. Can I ask HR for more salary now?

With 2.4 years experience in Big Data domain with AWS native. Getting 8.3 fixed + 10% variable with Deloitte where current CTC is 4.75. Have offers from other MNC like Accenture /IBM of 10 fixed. Shall I continue with Deloitte assuming career growth as a part of big 4 or continue with Accenture or IBM.

MS Teams Tips:
1. Always prefer to ping someone and check their availability before calling them directly. If someone calls you directly ask them to ping you and check before calling directly.
2. For Groups in Teams, Prefer to mute the notifications, else they would continuously buzz and disturb you.
