Do strategy consulting verticals at T2 consulting also do PMO? I recently am seeing a shift, have appeared for interviews at 2 T2 orgs and both the interviewers told that they have shifted the focus on implementation and PMO since it ropes in more revenue.
Currently I have done both Strategy and PMO projects, find PMO to be extremely boring and repetitive.
Apart from the usual MBB, Kearney and OW since I have a tier 2 MBA, what other firms exist in India that do strategy consulting?

Does Lebanese diaspora really command more power in the MBB and T2 in the region? How can others navigate a career here?

Starting to get more involved in the project sales process - any recommendations for books or resources to develop skills in this area?

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation … tbc

I am a consultant working in one of the big 4. I have got a call from DE Shaw HR for a role in their Project Finance and Investment Research team focusing on Energy sector? Being an MBA in Finance graduate, I am in a dilemna on which path might be better I the long run -consulting (where I am more of a generalist, taking up random asks from clients and onshore stakeholders) or Project Finance & M&A where role might be more specific.

My post is targeted towards, Indian Government officials as Business owners are very unreasonable on their demands to deliver and least care about the specifics on scope they want out of software Product. Best example we can take is from Income tax portal fiasco and Entirely blame is transferred on Vendor.
It is portrayed like Infosys is a failure. Everyone knows how successful they are in IT sector globally. It is just at Indian public sector project where they have to face hardship. Why?
