My fiancé is looking to make a bit of a career/job change. He currently works as an estate/probate attorney and isn’t sure that’s the realm of law he wants to stay in. Where do y’all recommend as good places to work in the legal, tax, or consulting fields???

If the ultimate goal is to move in pharma/biotech (bd / strategy type role), does prestige of consulting firm matter? Or would it be better to work for less known firm that may have more client facing opportunities?

Any recommendations for companies open to former senior-level agency folks? Looking to make the switch in house and have 15 years experience working in oncology

Best books on leadership and sales skills?

As a (class of 2020) second year whose several classmates from different groups are already thinking about leaving/going to other firms, should I explore other options too? Don’t know if they’re being dramatic about how bad it is or if I’m just drinking the koolaid in my group?

I’ve been a search manager for 8 years. What kind of role can I take on at a place like Google etc ? I am trying to figure out what’s next for me. I’ve considered client side, a lot marketing director roles that I think could be a good fit but I feel lost. I am tired of no upward movement in my career.

The industry is crumbling under our feet and I still can’t decide if I want to go in-house or not. I’m afraid it won’t be as exciting and I won’t travel as much. But also, I need a job. So 🤦‍♂️

I am currently working at KPMG as an Analyst. I want to do my MBA in HR and Operations. The feedback that I received from people is that growth in HR is slightly restricted and that HRs don't get hikes (while switching) similar to that of Consulting or Finance or Marketing?

I am not solely interested in HR and am open to other domains as well.

Looking for advice: I have an analyst (9 months on the job) who still doesn’t get it - repeatedly misses comments, doesn’t follow instructions, slow, etc. I have raised this to both my MDs and they seem to be adopting a “not my problem” approach when I mention it.
