I was selected for a role at UST and have been waiting for the offer letter and onboarding process for 2 months. I got an offer which was not better than UST so I rejected it and continued waiting. I contacted the hr and they said interviews are happening for the role in another city. Is the delay normal? Do I need to stop waiting for it and search for other jobs? I am really confused because I really wanted to start my career from UST as a fresher.

I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)
