Hiya. Looking for some advice. I’m a mid-level copywriter at an agency in Chicago, but I'm itching to make the leap to NYC. I do a mix of branding and campaigns, but I’ve always preferred the campaign work. Trouble is, in my experience, it’s way easier to get a foot in the door at a design studio than one of NYC’s big campaign-focused agencies. Is it a misstep to take a branding/strategy role in NYC to be closer to those opportunities? Or should I hold out for the golden goose?

What are the best exit opportunities for seniors?

I’m a private immigration attorney whose interested into transitioning into a high level federal government attorney position in the future (not in this administration). Ideally, I’d love to work in the solicitor general’s office.

I’m only a year or two into practice and am wondering if there are any tips to best position myself for this type of position? I don’t anticipate making any moves that way for at least 5 more years. No clerking experience or law review, so that’s -2 points for me

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

I do create some personal campaigns and do social media content on LinkedIn for my personal profile. That is why I get a high number of interviews but I stumble at the starting line.
