I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). How does one go about a resignation mid-leave when you would start the new job before the leave ends? Two weeks notice or just say I am not returning effective the day of the new job? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.
