You get to make your own choices. One of the fun things about life.
Married my coworker after we hooked up. Pretty amazing time and it makes for a great story
Same
Hand stuff only
If you’re looking to just have fun then do it elsewhere. It might be exciting at first but the potential to blow up and be spectacularly, publicly embarrassing, and affect your career is v high… not worth it and I know from experience.
If you’re genuinely interested and trying for a relationship/dating then go for it. Have a couple of friends that met their husband/wife through work
It happens. Just make double-sure the vibes are mutual otherwise someone's getting a call from HR. Keep work stuff separate from relationship stuff. If things end badly someone should leave, it's just better this way.
Same office? Iffy.
Different branch? We just celebrated our anniversary and today was the kid’ first day back at school.

You’re good 👍
And even if you were on the same team, you’re still go to go. One the benefits of not working a typical, conservatively corporate job.
Depends on your roles. Is there a power dynamic? If so, I would refrain
Yes. Go for it. But be at least a little smart about it.
Definitely don’t ignore the strategy.
It's way more exciting until it's a bad idea. It almost always ends up being a bad idea.
Both
Usually a bad idea. 1) Your colleagues will notice. 2) HR will notice. 3) Once the fling is over, you'll be miserable at work.
Yes
Yes and yes!

I personally think it’s a great idea, as long as the person isn’t your boss.
My sister and brother-in-law were coworkers! He helped train her then found a new job shortly thereafter so they could date. Their five-year wedding anniversary’s next month 🥰
Just do it.
I’ve done it twice now and it’s been fine, that said it was usually a few months before I quit to get my next job
Love how everyone's assuming this person isn't already married!
They’re assuming correctly
