How common is it for people to transfer into an IB analyst role after 3 years in the workforce? I hear rumors about “aging out” and am wondering if there’s any negative view towards someone who would transfer in at 25-26 y/o.

I am working in corporate banking since last 6 years in credit analyst role. I have done MBA Finance (tier 1 college) and B.Tech (IT). I have also worked for 2 years as a Software Developer before Pursuing MBA. Now I want to switch to IT company where my banking domain and finance skills can be used.
