I’m concerned about increased sexual harassment with return to office.

This is an aspect I hadn't considered yet (somehow). Thank you for bringing it to my attention - for so long we've been "protected" (though SH still happens online for SURE) and now we have to go back to considering SH and protecting ourselves in a physical environment

I agree - I think employers have to give employees sufficient heads up to make arrangements. It's also going to increase the cost of living for lots of people.

Going to negatively impact care takers, neuro diverse individuals and people with disabilities.
The only plus side I see is the opportunity for mentorship for folks new to their career. However, I feel like we can develop programs to support remote mentorship so I'm not sure that's such a huge plus sode

My boss makes jokes about me being from a different country whenever there is a work meeting or a gathering with coworkers, even though he knows where I am from. This usually occurs when I meet new work-related people or for example if I am in a situation that involves ethnic related subjects.

Working on introducing ERGs at a company- how did your company decide the first ERGs to start with? How did they communicate the start of ERGs and roll out the structure?

My company is in need of a update online, could use your opinions! We need to better showcase our culture (caring, supportive, fun, intelligent IT industry leaders) as well as diversity. We are predominantly white still but making strides to improve here. What’s the best way to approach? I don’t want to seem disingenuous or that we are singling out our diverse employees (asking for photos). We have a remote and on-site workforce about 350+ EEs. Non white EEs make up about 35% of the company rn.

Latinx - help! We used this term in our diversity spotlight discussing Hispanic Heritage Month. One individual said that in English a group of Latinos would just be Latins to be gender neutral. I understand the word is controversial but is “Latins” grammatically correct? I assume we should just say Latin Americans, but trying to understand if Latins is also accurate.
