How do you deal with people who almost ALWAYS seem to have an “emergency”. It is always the same formula - I ask them to help me with a project, they agree, then the night before/morning of when it’s due they had a “family emergency” or “last minute thing” or feel sick and they can’t help now/have to take the day off. I am usually VERY understanding, but it has gotten to a point that this is almost a weekly/every time occurrence. I’m talking 9 times out of 10. I’m losing patience.

So, the CDC removed the Covid guidelines. I’ve never had Covid. I’m afraid people will come into work not wearing a mask and be inconsiderate… ughhh so distracting and disgusting. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work.
