My prep was 2 weeks, so easiest to just take vacation
Thinking same as P1. I studied 2 days before and got 700. Obviously retaking it but it’s really not that hard.
Sacrificing sleep time. Did a 1-month long, ~1.5 hours per day and a bit more on the weekends. Know some folks who magically got a 760 in the first attempt, but realistically getting a 700+ just takes time. I got a 740
Agree, same 2 wks on off taking practice tests before actual GMAT, was 720, never took it a second time.
I found practice tests were best way to prep
I just started and a lot of people at Bain recommended that I study for it over the summer before I started full-time. Nearly everyone who didn't take it before starting work now regrets it. It sounds like most people either try to study for it while working at the firm and rarely get the score they want, or they study for it while on externship and working less hours.
