Force a lunch break. Your mind will function better, and longer, bc of it. Sometimes I walk or run, some days it's strength training. You can do weights on conference calls (if you aren't presenting or driving the discussion). Make it happen. At.least a few days a week.
No longer in public but I used to leave the office to workout at 5:30 then get back at 7 to keep working.
Work out 3x a week, one day during the week at 6am and Saturday and Sunday at 7am
Morning workouts. It’s the only way I’ve been able to adapt. I might not start till 9:30/10 but it ensures I get my workout in. It takes some time to adapt to though.
Oh I also have a “atleast every other day” rule. Rather than saying 5 times a week and missing the first two days and then being set up to fail I made a promised to myself years ago every other day. It gave me permission to take a break and had me think about if I skip cause I’m just not that into it, will tomorrow have time for a workout. Not every workout has to be killer but it helps!
I always will find time twice a week for it. like on short days for example, I will hit the gym after my 9 hour days, then maybe once more on a weekend. You can also hit it in the morning before you get ready. Saves a ton of time when you just get cleaned up once after a workout
When I worked at a firm, I'd workout on weekends as the work days were shorter. And then during the week I'd pick a few days where I would leave around 5 and come back to the office right after the gym. I have no kids though so I didn't have to commit time to anything else.
