Being a CPA isn’t a requirement to take CPE courses. You’d basically just pay for accounting courses that would count for CPE credits since it’s required if you’re actually licensed.

Most state CPA societies offer a ton of half day and full day learning classes, as well as a few multi-day conferences on various topics. You do not need to be a licensed CPA to be a member of your state society of CPAs.

There are also lots of online and self study options offered through companies like Surgent. But live or zoom CPEs typically offer discussion components and Q&A, which is nice because it lets you benefit from others' experience.

Mid 2020, I turned down an opportunity to jump ship from my small law firm to a big law firm. At the time I had 4 years of practice under my belt with managerial experience. I thought the offer was reasonable, come in at a 2nd year level, but with the uncertainty of the times I played it safe. Now I regret it. What avenues do I have, if any, to jump into big law from a small firm?

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Anyone has seen any impact on conversion rates?
