How far do you think your military career will go? Many of us enter believing that we will be captains or that we will opt for some high rank in our military corps, but when we see the reality we understand that it is not something easy and we know that with the time we have left we will stay in some floor of the rank.

The military offers something that alot of companies do not. How fast you advance through the ranks is up to you and how well you're EER or OER are. You may have to meet some time requirements but outside of that, the more you study and work on yourself plus do your job well, good luck!

I went on the admin side after a while, because I felt like I was going to have an easier time rising ranks in an office scenario. You are right, it is not easy to get a high rank, and it's honorable for those who do, but the military is truly a field where it cannot be about you and your advancement.

I am really not expecting much. As long as I love what I am doing and it's giving me the satisfaction that I need then I will continue serving.

I am content with my current role. I am their first obstacle to their careers if you will. Hope I make a good impression on them. Maggots I mean

It really depends on your determination and goals. Some would be discouraged after seeing the reality. It could also be a challenge for others.

I really do not know, to be honest. I want to do some admin work after. But I also want to take a break, a long break actually.

Hello fellow SAP Consultants!
I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.
