[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Hard from any background, not just B4.
Same advice that’s offered on this app daily. Network into a referral, nail the cases, tell compelling stories, let the recruiting team figure out which level is a good fit.
Not hard. Network, have a special/sought after skill, or get your MBA. Then kill the interviews.
Bing bang boom, easy peasy
Wtf is networking. Is there like something other than cold calling alumni thay i can do

I have 94 first degree current/former Deloitte connections and 4,900 second degree current ones. Surely you know a few of them. And that’s just me; there are 18k BCGers.
But how do you turn that cold email into a relationship. I am a super introverted guy. Maybe this is Just me but I genuinely don't know how to develop these relationships.
It’s a not a cold email. Have one of our mutual connections make the intro.
I have. That's how I got this job lol. But I do not know how to use that on LinkedIn etc.
I would look for anyone with a notable shared characteristic (alma mater, home town, ethnicity if you’re a minority, etc.) and then try to meet for coffee close to their office or something. Always easier to form a relationship if they feel like you reached out to then for a reason (vs. first person on LinkedIn)
