How have you handled a situation where the person hosting your technical interview is wrong on an objective and easily verifiable question, you’ve politely questioned/brought their misunderstanding to their attention, and they continued to double down? I assume their thinking I have the wrong answer worked against me when reviewing candidates.

I just completed the interview process at CGI, the HR called thereafter saying that I've cleared all the rounds and they'd like to give me an offer. They also sent a couple of mails for required documents. But I am yet to receive the offer letter, is this usual?

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

I applied for a job within my unit that I do not qualify for. Now, I have an interview for this job. Me knowing I do not meet most of the qualifications for this position has my imposter syndrome thinking I shouldn’t even do this interview because it would be a waste of time. While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

Not my ideal exit but I accepted an offer at another Big4 for a 26 percent hike in base.
Ideally I’d exit to industry in Product/Program manager role but I really needed out and this came up so I took it. And Im on H1B so I cant keep interviewing/accept a better offer if it comes up, once the transfer is initiated.

I have been asked to train a new employee, who is also a senior associate, and it’s been three months but just doesn’t seem to understand our work. We do A123 control testing and have assigned him this one area to test and basically own. I asked him to complete xxx test plans so we can begin testing in the New Year and gave him specific instructions for completing the task. Despite this he is showing no progress and Manager is aware.
