Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Hello Fishes - I have worked in Intel Corporation for a year but not as direct employee. It was my client location. My direct payroll was LNT Services. How can I take benefit of Intel Corporation as I was NOT a direct employee there. Can I mention in my resume. If yes, how and what to mention in my resume?

It's crazy how many people have already forgotten how to perform basic tasks. AI hasn't been around that long. How are people so reliant on it?
I think that’s the scary part about AI. Becoming reliant on it erodes critical thinking and writing skills.
As far as generative AI goes? Very little. Honestly, it just doesn't make sense for the type of work we do, and I'd have a lot of concerns and questions if I heard about another actuary relying on generative AI for a reserve analysis or a rate indication.
I used Copilot recently to generate some clip art for a PowerPoint. It was pretty cool, but not sure if it was faster than hunting around on the internet for art.
I'll be honest, it really hasn't changed mine. I hardly ever use it. But I have coworkers who sound just like yours. My boss will be like, "Have ChatGPT come up with an email we can send." And I just roll my eyes because I can come up with my own email.

In a month AI will be doing most of my job before I get a claim. It will be taking recorded statements and gathering documents needed for the claim before it's ever put on me

Also they have implemented it to 80 percent of the country since last year already and talked to someone the other day in a different region and they said they now hardly ever have to talk to customers. They review the information and done. It has self service inspections and everything
Tell them to use ChatGPT instead of Google searches. It’s a good way to start.
