I’ve heard it’s a Mickey Mouse operation
The people there are a little goofy
Warning: when budgets are tight they eliminate a whole team regardless if they’ve been there for 30+ years
They laid off a bunch of people a year or so ago, I've heard they over hire and then fire
So I’ve worked with the Disney tax team a bit. I feel like they actually have a great operation with some fairly sophisticated tools and procedures. That’s a company I’d definitely consider working for if you get an offer.
To repeat some other comments they are very excited about any Disney references but having a young kid I didn’t really think much of it besides them having some corporate pride. Disney owns a lot in the entertainment industry, and you’ll get a wide range of experience with that group.
We’ve worked with them a lot in an advisory capacity. I know they are VERY budget conscious.
