USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI
I’m currently working in Citi as an AVP in Mumbai for the past 9 months.. due to personal reasons I wanted to move back to Pune (I have worked in Pune for last 8 years before coming to Citi) so I landed up with an offer from HSBC into Wholesale IT (GCB5).
My current Fixed CTC in Citi is 26.5 excluding PF and Retrials and HSBC IT has offered me 30.5 for the same and said they cannot increase further as am moving jobs in after 9 months which is too early..

Base? I was 26. All in, 25.
My progression (Base/Bonus):
22: 62k, 3k
25: 92k, 17k
28: 114k, $17k
29: 148k, $15k (signing bonus)
30: 195k, 80k
Essentially I moved to S& and my income skyrocketed - promoted like 6 months in.

From a different b4
Graduated at two years early. First position paid 110k. Sheer luck, nothing special, 2.5 gpa, a state school, one decent internship, and an overinflated sense of self, which helped with interviewing and networking - the reason I was able to get the job.

First actual job! But I got a PhD and was paid an annual stipend of 35k so you could also say 5 years 🙃

Dunno but there definitely are PhDs for organic synthesis 🤷🏻♀️

I started in oil & gas so my first role was 6 figures. Got laid off 3 years later though when oil crashed so it kind of set expectations unrealistically. I then went and got my MBA and am just slightly higher if I take inflation into account. Mid 100s now.

If we’re including bonuses, I’ll break 6 figures this year, I’ll have 2 YOE. If we’re talking just base, I’ll have to wait another year.
4 years into working full time. Had MPH, HCOL city. I started working full time later bc of my masters program as I waited til I was done to look for jobs (so basically didn’t reach 100k+ til I was 28).
