Is it 3 yrs? Wish firm provided basic information.

like

Yep, login to Hewitt and click on the pension tab and there should be info on when you vest

like

For me (2013 hire) it is three years

like

I'm showing a date in Hewitt that would be less than 3 yrs for when I'm fully vested. Was confused and wanted to check.

like

EY OP did you intern? That also counts

like

You should have those details as part of offer if not got to employee benefits and check out the details for pension

I think it requires certain number of hours per year so when you meet the 3rd year hours you will best fully or at least this is how system shows

Awesome!!!

I did intern. I wasn't aware that the number of hrs worked are used for our years of service.

I thought in 15 they changed it to 5 years. At least in the West.

I think the change was made around 2015 (3 yrs to vest prior to 2015 and 5yrs thereafter)

I bought a house last year from a senior couple and was locked into a senior exemption on my property taxes for the rest of the year. I just received my property tax bill for the new year and I'm still locked into the senior exemption. Can I be penalized in the future if I don't say anything and just keep paying my property taxes as is? I feel like it's the village that screwed up and that's on them. Thoughts??

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. I am thinking PgMP certification vs Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification. Let me know what certifications you plan to take or already took in a program manager role, why you took that specific certification, any benefits you received after taking that exam and how difficult was the exam etc.,

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?

Any potential flags/benefits for dual agency? My agent and the seller's agent work for the same company.

Anyone know what the process is to get a black license plate on a new car? First time buyer and I’d like to get the black plates directly from the dealer when picking up the car, but not sure if that’s possible with custom order plates (I.e: do I get the white plates at the dealer then have to pay again and wait 3 months for the black ones to come in)
