How long have you been consulting? How long do you think you’ll keep consulting?

I've been waiting tables for the past 20 years. It's a decent job that has gotten me through some difficult times, but I am getting old and tired. What career path would be most advisable for me at age 40?

Currently I have an offer on my hand and my current employer has nominated me for H1B

If I resign what will be the consequences?
Is it good to stay in the company or resign as I have a better offer in hand

I just accepted a corporate counsel role with a large Fortune 500 company. Any advice or thoughts on make the transition from a firm to in house?

Is it more worth it to go into FDD at a regional firm now, or hope that my current big 4 will transfer me come spring 2021?

I'm kind of in the mindset of only doing FDD at big 4, otherwise I'll go straight to industry. Am I being too down on mid-market FDD experience and the related exit ops?

Also, I can't go the route of doing FDD at a different big 4. Already got rejected by all of them cause I'm not in audit (but have CPA).

Once you join a MF in Europe in investment team, how common are lateral moves? Can you get go up a level if you make one and have some years of experience?

Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain? Friendly tip: Don't burn bridges even with those who are leaving - our industry is small (even in Manhattan) and you will almost certainly see that person again if you stay in pharma
