Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?

Generally, two. A screener and a call back. Can be more depending on who has to weigh in on the decision. DPW drug me in for four rounds of interviews, bastards.
Agreed, and adding—it could also be less. Depending on what the firm needs/timing, you might have just one interview with all of the decision-makers and follow-up calls with assocs for fit after the offer is made.
Just finished my post-clerkship interviewing. Generally, two rounds pre-offer. They’ll try and wow you will high caliber attorneys to get you lured in/invested early before you meet other firms.
If you’re being poached, seems more like a fast-track situation so I’d guess one round.

I only did 3 interviews in a similar poach situation. Otherwise have met with like as many as 8-10 people.

3 people. I think possibly my partner was technically #4 but we didn’t really interview lol. He went over a couple weeks before the associates.
Sometimes I've done a call and then a formal interview. Currently waiting on an offer where I did one interview and once it finished I was told to expect an offer. Some firms move fast and some do 2 rounds
