I am currently with VMWARE as a digital sales rep. I have another offer in hand with Confluent. The comp is lucrative as compared to the current one but I am sceptical if the move is worth. The next role is of Commercial account executive. How is Confluent as a company, is the move from VMware to there worth given the situation at VMWARE post broadcom acquisition.

Are MBB and Boutiques doing this massive hiring blitz with double referral bonus etc like the big 4 are? Or did they not fire all their people last fall?

I’m in charge of outside events and member events, in charge of the front of house staff, scheduling, ordering and membership sales for the club. I feel I am very underpaid at $45k. I do get commission but it’s very low ($10k give or take for the year). I work 6/7 days a week sometimes 10+ hrs/day. I’ve been researching salaries to be able to negotiate higher pay.
