On a side note, I moved to Toronto from Los Angeles in the United States, can we please talk about how pretty your money is here in Canada? Ours is just an icky green color and depressing. lol sorry for the super random aside!

Agree - US money looks cheap but has better value - you guys have cracked the game
Vaughan Ontario over 500k household income
250K household would do quite well in Vaughn, for 500k, you can move to Rosedale or forest hill I'd say
I’d like to know some for Vancouver, please for anyone who knows. Moving there in a month.
Depending on your lifestyle.
If you want to own a 2 bed condo, you probably need $150-200K household, and even then…
If you want a house (2M) you need 350K-400K.
You can find cheap rents if you’re willing to go basement suite or no laundry… but that’s not really life.
Your question is really broad - it all depends on your lifestyle. But I’m in Edmonton. You can get a 1 bedroom condo for mid-100s in a decent area; so you don’t need that high of a salary to live.
300k household income in Toronto to be comfortable
This is very subjective of how many people are in that household. 300k is extremely comfortable for 1 or 2 people.

It depends on your needs, lifestyle - 250K in Toronto
