How quickly do you usually settle your average car accident type case? How many cases are you closing a month? A quarter?

There’s just so many factors to consider that you can’t really put a timeline on how quickly a case can settle; you can have two identical crashes with identical injuries but the treatment and policy limits alone will change how long it’ll take to settle.

I’ve seen cases settle within a few days of the injury because the injury is so catastrophic that the adjuster responds to the LOD with a policy limit tender, and I’ve had cases where I’ve had to work on it for over a year and litigate just for a $15k minimum policy because the adjuster is dumb.

like

This depends on many factors, but you can settle a case the same day the offer comes in if you have authority from your client to negotiate and you have bills verified, a final lien, etc. With a caseload of about 125, my goal was to resolve about twenty cases each month.

like

Yes, majority of these cases were pre-litigation.

It really does depend on about a million things because there have been cases we have settled in a matter of weeks and others that last several years. I woudl say on average it is about a year to settle. We are settling about 15 cases per month right now.

Going through a lot of mixed emotions. Almost feels like my anxiety levels are on the rise. I used to think I can manage stress very well, but that belief seems to be fading away. I am diabetic as well and don’t see much point of working hard as I have in all my life so far... and just feel like living alone and going somewhere in the darkness. Anyone else facing similar issues?

Was just wondering if cycle length has gotten anything to do with fertility. Any stories of success with short cycles?

Can anyone please share their experience with these drugs and any side effects? Should we maybe start with natural IUI first?

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.

What is she even doing?! 😂😂😂
