What are the average senior manager and principal salaries?

I had a recruiter reaching out and considering a move to the region to be with my partner. But heard most firms are not doing great right now and can’t tell if they are BS-ing with the salary numbers.

(Yes, internal transfers are hard right now)

Company x offered me 9 LPA
Company y offered 11 LPA

I want to join company x more due to their tech stack, culture etc. It's also an established product based company while y is service based.
How do I initiate negotiations with x? I have plenty of time left in notice, but x also requested to join early (if previous company releases, with buyout+bonus) for which I have discussions next Wednesday.

How much does a rating effect hike? Is it just affecting bonus or hike has a role in the ratings you receive as well ?

When is the salary and salary slips released ?

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

Just resigned!!! So happy to move on from the bad situations I was in at Deloitte. Going to a well established fintech startup. Almost doubling my base salary. So excited for something new!
