What do agencies look for when hiring junior creatives, besides the obvious (creativity)?

I recently cleared interview in TCS for Salesforce domain role and had my HR round few days back, In HR round HR said they can give me the same CTC I am currently getting in my current company as I am switching the job in 6 months so they can't provide any hike, Is this a valid reason? also during interview scheduling process I had told them on hike % of bare minimum which they had agreed and then proceeded with interview but now HR is not providing any hike, what should so do in such situation,

Hi 🐟, I'm in a bind and any advice is appreciated. I've spent all of my career (7 years) as a SAP Consultant. I constantly feel that I'm not living up to my potential and that I need to move into a more technical role. I need to choose a path:
1. Data Engineer/ Data analytics (have a MS in this area)
2. Software Eng (need to start from scratch but it's suitable for my introverted & creative nature & pays well)
3. Product manager (what I'm doing now in a tech & pays well)
4. Go deep into SAP

Currently negotiating for a really cool role.

What’s a good range for 4-5 years experience in nyc?

What kind of skill/technical questions are asked for the SAP Senior Consultant role at Accenture?

Hi, anyone here at PWC deals Capital Projects and Infrastructure LOS that I can speak to. I’ve seen an opening for senior consultant and I want to apply, I’m in the same practice at another consulting firm.

I’m pursuing a FDD/TAS Associate 1 / 2 role in nyc, I have around ~7 months audit experience - anyone that’s interested in giving a referral let me know!

I received an offer Friday for a new role that my mentor referred me to & she’s the director of the team. Its more in line with my career trajectory, fully remote, and the culture seems great. They offered 80k and told me the range is 70-80k and they were excited to offer the top of the budget. It’s a little amount but I was hoping for a min of 80, but really like 82k thinking about the role. Do I bother asking since they gave the disclaimer top of budget or ask bc there’s prob room?

Would Bain folks be willing to chat and perhaps provide a referral? ADC with experience looking to apply for consultant role. Thank you.

Stay where you are for a promotion or take a new position that pays more?

I left audit at a big 4 with just <1 year of exp naively looking for an “easy” industry job. Left 1st industry job bc turnover meant poor training for me & with the new place I’m at it’s not accounting & very steep learning curve. I feel I should’ve stayed in public, at least go into advisory, but now I’m too chicken bc of travel & I’m getting married next year so I need PTO. Recruiter at my preferred job (which I didn’t get) said team liked me so she’ll call if there’s a new opening. Cont below

I received an offer from Cognizant. Designation as 'Architect Devops Engineer'. Can anyone working in Cognizant let me know if it same as Manager position. I am currently working with Accenture as team lead (level 9)

I currently work until about 4pm (so that I can have time with my kids after daycare), and then usually log on later at night to do some catching up. My question is - I’m in the process of interviewing for a new job. When (if at all) should I raise the need for a “flexible” arrangement? After I have an offer in hand? Should I just not say anything and start doing it in new role? I’d hope in our profession we can assume adults will get their work done so this *shouldn’t* be a big issue?

Pigeon-holed? I work on a digital team at a PR shop. Seems only other PR companies are interested in hiring me. My dream is to move to a tech company but no one is biting. How do I overcome this?

Any insight on adobe technical consultant role? Salary? Interview

How is everyone searching for jobs right now? We’re having a lot of trouble finding the right talent and I feel our recruiters are just cold calling everyone on LinkedIn. Is there anywhere else you all typically search for jobs? Would you take a cold call from work recruiter at an independent agency you may not have heard of?

Also I’m keen to get a more diversified team-any suggestions on where to post openings?

If offered a great position and 30% bump, seems like a no brainer to jump. But I’m wary of an upcoming recession, and how being a new employee would make me vulnerable to layoffs. What do you think?

Hey fishes, Can someone help me with the first round of Oliver Wyman for the role of technical advisor/ solutions architect please. What to expect in the very first call? Any pointer please?
Oliver Wyman

Anyone willing to refer me to a role at EY? TIA

Under-utilised since joining boutique three months ago. Not developing at all and periods of no work for me are common (even when I chase up). Other grad hires are in the same position. Time to worry?
