Any info on the agency Heartbeat in NY?
Hi fishes,
I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer.
Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens

Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Can you really apply to cloud positions with fundamental cloud certifications? Thought you would need at a minimum the solution architect level cert
I don’t work in cloud but I know AWS still owns the highest market share but I’ve seen a lot more interest in Azure
Can’t go wrong with either, we’re both doing a lot of the same things, have the same pressures, same nuances etc. Google just has the benefit of flashy name recognition and thoughts of movies like the intern, but I can tell you from firsthand experience that it’s not like that (at least in cloud).
There’s tradeoffs to both, going to either will slow down career trajectory as both have long and tough promotion cycles. Comp probably favors the industry due to $/hr, but if you have like of sight to partner I might encourage you to hold tight.
Thanks . The $/hour is the reason that I am considering moving to the the tech industry as opposed to staying in consulting. I have heard from more than one AWS person that it’s very cutthroat culture and WLB is non existent.
