Do it. The extra $55k a year will soothe any pain you have lol. Don’t even second guess it
“Prestige” is for getting job offers. You did it!
Unless you are dead set about making partner at Deloitte as fast as possible, leave. You can boomerang later if you really want to (albeit with a slightly slower path to partner).
Pro
That 55k you put in the bank for the 4 years=~200k it would take you to match at Deloitte will sit in your retirement account for 30 years and grow.

Would you work for Google for $30k a year? If you answered “no” then you have your answer. If you answered “yes” then I assume you are independently wealthy and don’t need the money!
I spent years at small Federal firms and am now at d, which has resources in terms of learning and development and tons of projects. But market value means more and the d name is already on your resume. Go and reset your market value, spend a year at this other firm and then evaluate - just know you’ll have to be more self directed in terms of professional learning and development and that your fate might be tied to that of a single project.
.
Was in your shoes a few years back...left ACN for a similar situation, boomeranged back 2.5 years later. Sweeping generalization from me here...smaller firms can offer more comp but less of everything else because they typically have less of everything else (resources, growth opportunities, name recognition, projects/sales pipeline, etc). Of course there are exceptions to this as many people on here will be quick to call out...but just my $0.02
Short sighted
You got a chance to boost your earnings this early in your career go for it unless you have a very clear goal career wise in mind that this doesn’t help

The “Deloitte prestige” is kind of a misnomer these days... leave
My thoughts are if you leave a consulting firm for another consulting firm, it'll be really difficult to break into industry as private companies will only see you as a consultant. This becomes the"golden handcuff" cycle.
Take it!
Do you mind if I ask if you have any unique skills/experience? I am just trying to understand why this other company offered you that salary? I am also a second year analyst
He may a top secret and experience with that client....

You already have the name recognition. You don't really need more

Would care way less about the “prestige” with D and the potential microscope you may be under working for a much smaller firm. Either way id take that $50k jump and leave if i dont like the new gig.

I would stay until you figure out what you want (and don't want) to do. Because the trajectory of taking this offer is that you will be a government contractor for the rest of your days.
Not sure if I 100% agree (esp. with such a higher salary), but it is a good point to consider. The smaller, unknown firm will likely make it harder to go to non-contracting jobs afterwards.
Would you pay Deloitte 55k for the opportunity to work with them? If yes, stay. If not, move. Good luck.
I think you should go for it. $55k jump in base early in your career is a whole lot and can help inflect your earnings trajectory.
There is lots good advice here... where you all when I was starting out🤣🤣🤣
Use the offer as leverage to bump up if you think D wants you (not 1-to-1, but the Deloitte benefits are better- think total comp w/401k match, etc).
That Deloitte brand recognition is important- I just used the Accenture version of it. You want at least 2-years...(I stayed 5 to SM) but the longer you stay and get promoted, the more you are worth external and it will always be on your resume.
And let’s not also forget...the training and skills you get are huge- coming into a new place without imposter syndrome, but knowing you have the skills to succeed
Make money as much as you can. Don’t get into Company names and brands , the tech world is moving in the direction skill set . If you maintain latest skill set , every company will want you
