I am a second year analyst working at Deloitte. Due to my clearance, companies often reach out for job ops. One offered to take my salary from 75k to 130 (they were not aware of my current salary). My only concern is that it is a smaller company and doesn’t carry the same prestige or name recognition as Deloitte. Would this be “shiny penny syndrome” or short sighted to pursue it? I don’t know what I want to do long term but short term I feel it would be the better option to take the job.
