I am a TAS/FDD senior associate at a mid-size firm and I can’t really take the horrible work-life balance anymore (currently averaging ~60 hours a week). I have about 2.5 years experience not including IB internships from college. Are there any good exit opportunities I should look for that have a better WLB and maybe close to the same salary? I’ve looked at some FP&A roles but really not sure what I should look for to achieve decent pay and good WLB. Currently at $95k in MCOL.

Anyone go from SaaS / licensing sales to services (strategy & implementation) sales?

I'm thinking of moving from large cap tech to large cap consultancy firm to help build the resume and round out my experience. I enjoy and do well in licensing, but I'm fairly young in my career (<6 years) and received a great offer to make the move.

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. I am trying to avoid wasting all of our time if i get to the last interview and they are expecting a salary that is too low for me.
